The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and preparing items for shipment. Duties of the position include, determining the method of shipment and preparing shipping labels, receiving incoming shipments and verifying the information against invoices and orders. The ideal candidate will be dependable, able to use safe operating procedures and judgment, must be a self-starter and possess a high level of motivation. This position requires standing, walking, and bending throughout the entire work day and the ability to lift, stack and maneuver objects that may weigh 30 to 50 pounds.
